Washed Grey Buffet

This mid-century modern style buffet was crying out for a good old fashioned wash. This was my first attempt at this process and I loved doing it! I used a base of Annie Sloan Paris Grey and let that dry. I then applied a watery mix of Paris Grey and Graphite, wiping off the paint immediately after I applied it leaving this very cool darker grey striations. After that dried I applied some clear and dark wax. After a little distressing she was finished!

This was my inspiration piece from Kathy Kuo Home -- love that site!
It is a beauty that will set you back a mere $1,375.

Although not an exact match, I was happy with how it turned out.
